Speaking Thursday to an assembled crowd at American Axle and Manufacturing, a vehicle parts manufacturer midway between Detroit and Flint, Mich., Vice President Mike Pence stressed that the tax cuts proposed by GOP leaders were aimed at the very sorts of people who drew the plant's paychecks.
"First and foremost, we're going to give working families a historic tax cut," Pence said. "(N)umber one is, tax cuts for working Americans."
