GameMaker Studio 2 is the latest incarnation, which its developer says has everything you need to take your idea from concept to finished game, with supposedly no barriers to entry. So is GameMaker Studio 2 really the ultimate 2D development environment, or is it just one more tool that’s almost there but not quite?
