Just like ‘luxury menswear’ is used to describe not only the timeless classics of style genius Ralph Lauren but also the unspeakably vulgar, skull-encrusted nylon aberrations of Philipp Plein, ‘luxury property’ is often used indiscriminately to describe any mid-western set, as well as a storied Renaissance castle that has been in the same family for several centuries.
