NEW WHALE SPECIES

Scienctists have likely discovered a new species of whale in the Antarctic. It's a cousin of the killer whale, previously only known from a beach stranding 60 years ago, fishermen's lore and tourist pictures.

Scientists say they've found a mysterious type of killer whale, perhaps the largest scientifically undescribed living animal. It lives in parts of the ocean near the Antarctic, also known as the "sub-Antarctic" region.
