'I'll buy you for a dollar.' Teen depicted in 'Slave for sale' Craigslist ad was taunted for days, his mother says.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Tamara Wallace said her 14-year-old son walked through the halls of Naperville Central last week, and fellow students laughed and told him, "I'll buy you for a dollar."

The comments were spurred by an ad placed on Craigslist depicting Wallace's son, who is black. The ad was titled "Slave for sale."

"He didn't know what was going on," Wallace said.

"He was the butt of jokes for days."
