‘Parallel’ bid to reopen Sharpness branch emerges
THE target of the volunteer-led Vale of Berkeley Railway Trust – a second scheme to reopen the Sharpness branch – has been unveiled.
On October 22, Stroud District Council announced a draft plan which included the building of a station in Sharpness, to support housebuilding plans.
