When did you first want to work in CG and why?

ES: Like many who grew up in the Eighties, it was Star Wars that first drew me in. At four years old I must have watched A New Hope on loop for days on end. With that inspiration and a camcorder I began composing scenes with toys, filming them a frame at a time.

I discovered CG by accident. While studying at Ohio State, I needed more space on my low-budget computer to install the games we enjoyed. At the time there were drive compression utilities for those of us without money for was in theatres that it occurred to me people have jobs doing this.
