FINISHING TOUCHES

Winter 2017 was my first winter ashore with Smuggler’s Blues 2 and inevitable off-season work seemed mostly to revolve around GRP repairs (the boat had spent time inland cruising in the hands of previous owners and suffered a few cosmetic scars). So last winter was my first proper chance to add a few upgrades. The ones I’ve enjoyed the most this summer are:

SOUND SYSTEM

The boat has a Sony car stereo fitted in the cabin and wired to four speakers, two in the cabin and two in the cockpit. When I bought the boat the cockpit speakers were shot, a good excuse to upgrade the sound system too.
