Miranda Markham, 35, from London, started running eight years ago but when her husband, Graham, 34, discovered a passion for triathlons, she soon became hooked.

I started running in 2011 with my local running club. I was talking about it non-stop and Graham could see the sense of accomplishment I was getting from it. He wanted to be a part of it, so he started running with me, but it didn’t grab him like it had me.
