Caledonian Sleeper disappointment echoed
I’M SORRY to confirm that Peter Middleton’s criticisms of the new Caledonian Sleeper stock are more than justified (January 2020).
As a monthly traveller on the Aberdeen to Euston return, I was underwhelmed by the new stock from the start.
There is absolutely nowhere to stow stuff in a cabin, and neither is there shelf space.
Who designed the sink at such an awkwardly high height? Why is it so shallow, with no interior rim to stop water splashing over with train movement? And why does the single inlet tap produce such a lamentably slow jet of water?
