Nick Blagona Died January 4, 2019 Nicknamed ‘The Tone Guru’, Bavarian-born, Canada-based Nick Blagona (given name Nicolai Blagonadegny) produced and/or worked with artists including Deep Purple, Rainbow, Ian Gillan, Chicago, the Bee Gees and April Wine. The 74-year-old had been plagued by poor health for quite some time.
