mmortalising a vast constellation of 300 confabulating budgerigars, ‘High Society’ sees artist Leila Jeffreys return to one of her earliest subjects while taking her work’s scope to dazzling new heights. Joining her treetop tableaux is a new suite of portraits – rendered with the compassion, wit and technical finesse for which she is known – as (left), Leila works with ornithologists and conservation groups to produce her images, with ‘High Society’ emphasising the social structures of wildlife and the symbiotic relationship between animal communities and their homes. October 16-November 10.
