FLOW STATE

Sliding over wet slates, I just about hold onto my bike and fly downhill to the next section. Gripping the dirt through a turn, that driving force builds speed through the berm and whips me out the other end. Leaning into banks, feeling the pull of gravity against my motion, I’m totally absorbed by riding. Wholly focused on the trail, I feel strangely calm and composed, despite the exhilaration.
