Finding hair on your brush – NORMAL

‘We lose around 100 hairs a day, so I tell women not to panic if they see a lot on their brush,’ says hair restoration surgeon Dr Bessam Farjo from Manchester’s Farjo Hair Institute. Changes in hormone levels are also a common cause of hair loss, says Dr Thomy Kouremada-Zioga, hair loss specialist at The Private Clinic of Harley Street. ‘If you’re post-menopausal then it’s not uncommon for hair to thin.’
