STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER (December 19)

wouldn’t be staying true to my eternal Wars-loving self if I didn’t include the final film in this third trilogy in my top summer movie picks for 2019. Wrapping up the epic Skywalker saga, the ninth chapter, brings to a close 40 years of the galactic adventures of Luke and Leia and now Kylo/Ben and Rey, not to mention Chewbacca, R2-D2 and C-3PO. There are no words to describe my excitement.JJ Abrams directs; Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega all reprise their roles, and even the late Carrie Fisher will feature. Fans across the globe will be queuing around the block once again to lose themselves in that galaxy far, far away.
