Cola buffalo wings

SERVES 8 PREP AND COOK TIME 1 HOUR

2½ cups (625ml) cola
¼ cup (60ml) soy sauce
¼ cup (60ml) Shao Xing wine
¼ cup (55g) brown sugar
2 tablespoons finely grated ginger
¼ cup (60ml) vegetable oil
2kg chicken wing nibbles
4 Lebanese (520g) cucumbers, quartered lengthways
2 (20g) spring onions, sliced finely

1 Combine cola, soy sauce, Shao Xing wine, brown sugar and ginger in saucepan; bring to the boil. Reduce heat and cook over medium heat for about 5-10 minutes or until reduced by a third.
