Eric Cantona plays tragic king in Liam Gallagher’s ‘’Once’’ music video as they put football rivalry aside. Eric Cantona is a Manchester United legend, while Gallagher is an ardent Manchester City supporter. In the clip, Eric (who was known as King Eric in his football heyday) plays a somewhat morose king wandering through an empty mansion in a red silk kimono.

QUARANTINE TIME

Manchester United’s latest signing, Odion Ighalo, had been forced to train away from the club’s other players amid fears he may have the coronavirus. The former Chinese Super League striker has also been omitted from United’s winter training camp in Spain. Ighalo joined United on loan from Shanghai Greenland Shenhua at the end of January.

IT WENT VIRAL

Dele Alli has apologized for a video posted on his Snapchat account in which the Tottenham and England midfielder appeared to mock an Asian man and joke about the coronavirus outbreak. Alli, who has been on holiday during his club’s winter break, posted the video of him wearing a face mask in an airport departure lounge with the message: ‘’Corona whattt, please listen with volume.’’ The 23-year-old then zooms the camera towards an unsuspecting man of Asian appearance before panning to a bottle of antiseptic hand wash captioned: ‘’This virus gunna have to be quicker than that to catch me.’’ The video was subsequently deleted after several complaints were made, with Alli issuing a statement in which he admitted he had let himself down and the club.
