There is a wonderful trend taking place to get rid of your immaculate lawn with its neatly trimmed edges and velvet green expanse. When you let a lawn go amazing things happen.
Many parks around the world have. But since the 1930s Britain has lost nearly 7.5 million acres of flower-rich meadows and pastures. Just 1 per cent of their countryside now provides this floral feast for pollinators. Against this loss, habitats such as lawns have become increasingly important.
