Sunshine and alcohol are two things that often go hand in hand. In fact, research has shown that nearly one in three Brits (27%*) admit to drinking more in the warmer months. Lighter evenings are the main reason we reach for the nearest G&T, glass of prosecco or other sundowner.

While there are few things more enjoyable than a cheeky tipple with family and friends–even if just via Zoom–there’s always going to be a downside to over-indulging. Yep, it’s the dreaded summer hangover, complete with dry mouth, pounding headache and the loose promise that we won’t be reaching for a drink any time soon. But, rather than swear off drinking for fear of the morning-after effect, the we drink–that can help us avoid or ease a hangover while still enjoying the deliciously chilled rosé that’s calling from the fridge…
