Donald Muir’s letter [] was a good excuse to look at my CDs – lockdown has produced far too much spare time. I was in a better position than Donald in that I already had a list because they had all been transferred to my laptop when I needed to downsize a few years ago. The 4,325 tracks, growing monthly, constitute a go-to-playlist imaginatively titled ‘Radio Uncut’. Shuffle play allows for an intriguing hour or so of always interesting and eclectic music, plus the occasional Beatles interview (). Agreed, Drive-By Truckers do get 17 tracks but The Beatles are well represented via cover versions from , (Lennon tribute, (Harrison tribute), , and McCartney’s . That said, a CD related to Ringo wouldn’t go amiss. As for).
