Running along the pier, playing in the arcades… I loved our annual beach trip.
It was August 2017 and this day out was a family tradition.
Just me, my dad Stanley, then 51, and my baby brother Jermaine, 15.
Every summer, for as long as I could remember, we’d taken a day trip, this year it was to Weston-super-Mare.
We both loved it – the chance to be carefree, act like kids again.
And after a day of fun, Jermaine would always sleep the whole coach ride home to London.
