The challenge of a triathlon against the backdrop of a great house in a gorgeous region
Back in March last year, I can only assume that I became very drunk. I can’t recall this happening, but I can think of no other reason why I – who got through two years of sixth-form college and three years of university without going to a single sports class – might suddenly have thought it a good idea to sign up for a triathlon in the following July.
