I COULDN’T SAY GOODBYE TO MY WIFE

Q My wife died of Covid-19 and it hurts that I couldn’t be there with her. I couldn’t sit at her bedside and hold her hand while she was dying. I had to talk to her over the telephone. I felt like I was letting her down.

Our two sons live in Australia and because of the travel ban they couldn’t even come to South Africa to be with me or say goodbye to their mother.
