Once Redland had acquired the business, significant investments were made. The liquid waste fleet grew to 200 tankers making it the largest liquid waste tanker fleet in the UK, consisting of a mixture of 1,600, 1,750 and 3,600 gallon rigid tankers. The 1,600 and 1,750 gallon units were mounted onto either a Ford D’ Series or a Leyland Clydesdale 4x2 16 tonne chassis. Larger 3,600 litre units were mounted onto either Ford D’ Series, AEC Marshall Major, Foden S39, ERF LV, ERF B Series, Volvo F86, Volvo F725 or Leyland Bison 6x4 24 tonne chassis.
