ROUNDING OUT

“Creating a living artwork” is the way Perth landscape architect Tristan Peirce describes the process of designing with plants. And it’s a philosophy he has showcased perfectly in the design of this courtyard in the beachside suburb of Cottesloe. “I’ve always loved art and I see landscape design as a form of art,” he says. “I’m always thinking about how I can arrange plants into a beautiful composition, how I can put them together in a way that’s poetic.”
