    MAKE YOUR HOME A SMART HOME PART 3

    In issue 92 of The Shed, I stated that this article would be dedicated to the doorbell. However, the doorbell design has been changed a bit to make it more efficient, and is still being tested, so we have to delay that part of the project.

    Instead, this third instalment will be directed towards the improvements we can add to the home kitchen. The challenging aspect of improving this very personal part of the home is designing a modular system that is easy to customize and can be adapted to a wide range of situations, taking care of security and creating a smart environment that will improve our kitchen experience.

    Warning

    Before going ahead, I should warn you about a particular detail: the gas blocking valve. If you decide to implement my described feedback actuator in your smart home project, you must buy a component specifically designed for flammable gases.
