f you sell through Apple’s App Store the company takes a 30. The game was suspended from the Apple and Google stores, and legal action ensued. Epic is one of a number of developers that have formed the Coalition for App Fairness. Apple has countered by lowering fees to 15 percent, but only if sales are below $1 million. Epic’s CEO claimed that Apple was “hoping to remove enough critics that they can get away with their blockade on competition and 30% tax.” This one is going to run and run, especially as the House of Representatives investigates anticompetitive practices.
