About this audiobook

Now available on CD: "A brilliant set of principles essential for people to function at their best, overcome personal obstacles, and achieve their heart's desire"*
17 LIES THAT ARE HOLDING YOU BACK explains how to recover from the lies that most of us tell ourselves to prevent us from being everything we could be—lies such as:
• "It's who you know"
• "I'm not good with people"
• "I'm too old"
• "Winning the lottery would solve everything"
• "I don't have the time"
Actually, as Chandler points out, you already have all the power you need to free yourself. And part two of his program outlines these truths and shows you how to recover them and use them to change your life.

I’m sure it’s a great book full of helpful advise, but I just couldn’t finish it! I got to lie #5 before I declared the narrator’s voice and/or tone, unbearable and turned it off. If you can deal with his bored sounding, monotone reading, I’m certain you’ll gain some useful insight. He made some good points in the portion I suffered through. Good luck to you!

The author does not ramble. The points are clear and nicely illuminated with anecdotes. It is very nicely laid out allowing one to listen, go away, come back and not miss a beat.

I will listen to this book again.

What an amazing book. I recommend reading the last chapter first because it's so important, just in case you decide not to read the entire book, but the entire book is amazing, it has changed my life.

The most amazing self-help book I have listened to.No,it will not change your life immediately but no book will. The main point of the book is <>.I think we can all agree that actually doing(whether it's studying, exercising e.t.c) stuff is the secret to getting stuff done.Any other excuse or wishful thinking mambo jambo is just to avoid putting in the hours. This book comments on the self-destructing thoughts we all have. And,his voice is not boring at all.
