- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Practicing the Power Of Now is an enlightening book. Through this audio book, my introduction to Eckhart Tolle was fascinating.
So many quotes in this book I decided to share with others. One of the quotes is related to negativity sabotaging your happiness.
His words are clear and easy to understand.
I definitely recommend this audio book as not only a one time must listen, but a book you may listen to quarterly just to appreciate your present situation and block out your own negative thoughts.
Thank you, Eckhart Tolle. Well done. - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5First half is simplistic, but tolerable, even if somewhat obnoxious. Second half is a mix of pseudoscientific nonsense (everything about body and energy) and bad unsolicited relationship advice. Which brings it, on average, below the readability threshold.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Timely and just what I needed to read right now. Feeling at peace.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I liked the book. When I read The Power Of Now, it helped me to release my past. This book made me understand that I have released my past, but lived in the future and resisted my present. Now I understand why I have been suffering, although I let go my past and forgave/understood everybody in it. I still have goals in my life, but now my main focus is to live in the present and from now on make choices that help me get to my goals.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A book that I would listen to daily, when I wake up and before going to bed.
Already listened to it twice by now and will listen again, so that the messages will imprint in my being. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great book and I Loved it. Short and concise to the point.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It's such a beautiful experience to listen to this book. I wanna read the entire book - now. I would like to thank the author for dedication to deliver this masterpiece to the world. NOW has touched my soul and heart.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5An excellent and essential practical application to being present. I will return to this book for guidance from time to time to remind me of what is truly important to living a life of peace. Eckhart Tolle is amazing at demystifying the personal spiritual journey, helping us all to learn and grow. A much-needed, and appreciated listen.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Logic and sense come together to explain some of our feelings
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book changed my life ,.. I have already read it ,.. keep listening to and reread whenever possible just as a remainder and reinforcement of this powerful force within
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It was inspiring and informative. The content is very powerful.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5On point... Now is all we have unlike past& future
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Lifesaving...
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The book is very well structured by theme with a series of questions and answers interrupted by "breaths" for the reader to absorb, and ponder on, the content. This gives the book a unique pace aligned with its subject of sinking in the Now. It is a great summary of Buddhist principles, seemingly simple but difficult to attain. It took a long time to read but only to make sure that I read it as it was meant to be: slowly, mindfully, intentionally.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Just wow… conceptually from an ontological POV it will shift your paradigm.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A very good practical guide well explained by the author
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Listening to this book was a really enlightening experience! I recommend it!
