About this audiobook

USA TODAY bestselling author Sarah Morgan introduces From Manhattan with Love, a sparkling new trilogy about three best friends embracing life—and love—in New York

Cool, calm and competent, events planner Paige Walker loves a challenge. After a childhood spent in and out of hospitals, she’s now determined to prove herself—and where better to take the world by storm than Manhattan? But when Paige loses the job she loves, she must face her biggest challenge of all—going it alone.

Except launching her own events company is nothing compared to hiding her outrageous crush on Jake Romano—her brother’s best friend, New York’s most in-demand date and the only man to break her heart. When Jake offers Paige’s fledgling company a big chance, their still-sizzling chemistry starts giving her sleepless nights. But can she convince the man who trusts no one to take a chance on forever?

Paige doesn't want to be seen as the girl with the weak heart. She's grown from a sickly girl into a strong, capable woman and she wants to prove herself. That's why she loves working in New York and she doesn't miss the small island she's originally from at all. When she and her two best friends, Frankie and Eva, lose their jobs because of someone else's mistake Paige realizes this is the chance to begin something new. Together they start their own company, they will plan the best events the city and nothing is too big or small for them to handle. However, making name for herself isn't easy and Paige might need help.

Jake knows Paige well, he's her brother's best friend. He's supposed to see Paige as a little sister, but this proves to be difficult time and time again. If he can do something for her though he will. His company needs to host an event and if Paige and her friends plan it right their business will be well known straight away. Working together with Jake might not be the easiest thing Paige has ever done, but if she wants her company to be a success she can do it. Paige is determined not to let him break her heart, will it remain unscathed this time?

Sleepless in Manhattan is a wonderful story about friendship and love. I immediately had a big smile on my face when I read about the friendship between Paige, Frankie and Eva. They're three totally different people, with clear own identities, and they brilliantly complement one another. Sarah Morgan has given their bond a warm and loving character, which instantly made me enjoy the story. Paige is strong, capable and ambitious. When she does something she wants it to be exactly right and I admired her passion and dedication. While she's good at what she does when it comes to work, in love there's only ever been one person and I kept hoping she would get a chance to really live and give someone her heart to be loved in return just as fiercely. It was fun to read about Paige's journey, both professionally and personally. Paige grows incredibly fast as a person and that aspect of the story is what I loved the most.

Sarah Morgan is amazing at building characters. They're multidimensional with realistic strengths and weaknesses, they have a clear past, a present and future and she's very skillful when it comes to describing personality traits. It's easy to like her heroes and heroines and the romance is always absolutely wonderful and sweet. I highly recommend all of her books. They are heartwarming, have their own unique style that makes them stand out and they are fabulously entertaining.
