I am a British author. I moved to France around ten years ago, and that's when I turned my hobby into a career. I'm fortunate to be represented by New York agent Richard Curtis. I share my home with two crazy dogs that like nothing better than to drag their masterful leader (that's me) around the village. I hope you enjoy reading my books, especially the Justice series, Cruel Justice, Impeding Justice,Final Justice,Foul Justice and the newest addition, Guaranteed Justice. Ultimate Justice is due out in Feb 2013. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I like the book just not the way she was reading the book. The way she was reading was very slow then she would speed up then slow it down again. Other than that is was a good book

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Very slow and the character development was lacking...the narration was worse...definitely not the best I've heard on here...

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I enjoyed the story, but the narrator's reading was distracting.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5the narrator's robotic voices and stunted way of speaking ruined what might have otherwise been a good audiobook

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Stopped at chapter 3. Cannot go on. The stilted, cliche dialogue is made even worse by the narrator. I've heard robots with better intonation. Worst reader I've ever heard!!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Better reader. Man this woman was bad! Poor diction & pronunciation. She sounded like she was reading, ugh!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5The story starts out okay, but nothing much happens for the majority of the book. Without giving away the plot, I kept thinking surely this will not develop as obviously as I think it is—there must be a twist coming. But no. A ho-hum murder story. And the “clue” that finally cracks the case is very obvious and if you have read police procedurals you will be struck by how inept and dumb the main inspectors are to have overlooked something so basic . No character development. The dialogue is stilted and unnatural (“I must go tend to my distressed grandchild,” “My family is riddled with tragedy.”) which is compounded by the narrator’s robotic style. This is the worst narration I’ve encountered on audio books. She over-annunciates and is expressionless. I should give myself five stars for sticking with it to the end.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The only thing I can say that was slightly off-putting, was that it bordered more on the side of a novella than actual book...177 pages and only 20 short chapters. It did have, in that short space, two gruesome murders...shocking family secrets...and people and things that weren't what they seemed to be. Overall...the author managed to tie everything up without leaving any hanging threads. A good read and totally worth the time.
