About this audiobook
‘The voice of modern woman’ Marie Claire
After yet another disaster, Lorrie is calling time on online dating. She might be single in her forties, but she’s got a good job, wonderful children and she’s happy. This, Lorrie decides, is going to have to be enough.
That is, until she receives a very unexpected request from France. Antoine Rousseau, who had once turned a lonely French exchange trip into a summer of romance, wants to see her – after thirty years.
But Lorrie is a responsible woman. She can’t exactly run off to Nice with the man who broke her teenage heart . . . can she?

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I enjoyed listening to the narrator, she made the story more attractive with her excellent accents. I found the book very funny in the first half, though the story is doomed a little from the start to be "predictable". I felt that the book seemed to have less interesting content as the story progressed. It is nevertheless a very enjoyable book and certainly worth reading/listening to for relaxing and humorous entertainment.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A fun easy read but uplighting. A tad overweight woman in her late 40's goes online to starts dating again after the loss of her partner. Her teenage children sign her up for "Date My Mom." After a few dates, she gives up but an old love enters her life. Relax, pick up a glass of wine and this book and be ready to laugh and cry.
