About this audiobook
Ivy Wilde, the laziest witch in the West, is still entangled with the Hallowed Order of Magical Enlightenment. That's not a bad thing, however, because it gives her plenty of excuses to spend more time with sapphire-eyed Raphael Winter, her supposed nemesis. And when he comes knocking because he needs her to spy on the latest series of Enchantment, she jumps at the chance.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5These books are super cute. The only thing that irks me just a bit is while the narrator does a PHENOMENAL job, shes not British while the characters are. It's a little off putting to hear all the british slang in an American accent.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It was amazing and funny!!! I just love ivy and winter so much
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good sequel but it’s super slow compared to the first book.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The story itself is good but at the end of every chapter it clips off. It's really annoying and cuts the flow of the story every time.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Helen Harper is amazing at throwing curve balls you will never seen coming!! I thought I had this one all figured out and at the last minute was like "Wait... WHAT???" Can't wait to see what's next!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5love this series. From book one , I was drawn in, with Ivy`s sarcasm, honesty and straight forward attitude. Funny, suspenseful and a tad of romance. Perfect
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I loved the book, but the end of every chapter skips the last sentence or more leaving you to wonder what happened...

Ivy Wilde, the world's laziest witch, is enlisted by the Hallowed Order of Magical Enlightenment to spy on the latest season of her favorite Reality TV show, Enchanted. Unfortunately for Ivy, dismembered participants, reanimated corpses, and exhausting challenges are putting a damper on her determination to do as little work as possible.
This second installment in the series is just a charming as the first. Ivy is a very engaging heroine, and it is fun following along as she finds herself chasing down clues despite her preference for long naps.
The focus on Enchanted, a Survivor-like Reality with fake and talentless witches endeavoring to perform magic tasks, is a not so subtle critique of the fraudulent and superficial programming on offer today. One cannot help but laugh at the irony of a real witch pretending to be a fake witch on a show with fake witches pretending to be real witches :)
The mystery itself is the weakest part of the story mainly due to the fact that the eventual revelation of the culprit and motive have very little foundation in the narrative. There are numerous red-herrings and subplots that build tension, but never really come together to form a cohesive storyline.
In terms of Ivy romantic escapades, there are some excellent developments in her relationship with the serious yet hunky Raphael Winters. Their chemistry and banter are delightful.
All in all, an entertaining sequel and I look forward to listening to the next one soon. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5You'll never watch "Survivor" again, after reading this book. Ivy goes on the book's equivalent "Enchantment" to stop a necromancer. Ivy is such a great character and she gets to interact with a whole new group of oddball people in this book where the location switches from Oxford to the Highlands of Scotland. My favorite character aside from the languorous Ivy is Brutus her noxious familiar
So Happy that book 3 of the trilogy is due out on August 23rd 2017. I'll be pre-ordering this. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Three and a half stars, just because this one was hilarious. Of the three books in this series, this was my favorite. The writing itself was so-so, but I repeatedly laughed aloud. I also appreciated how many different suspects there were, which made for an excellent series of red herrings.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I really liked the first book, a random Kindle Unlimited find. This was also a fun read, definitely edited and ready to be published. At time I read, it was also in KU. After enjoying the first book so much, I immediately binged the next two books. I recommend the books and the series but not to binge them back to back. Because the books are good with excellent story flow -- the series not so much. Not sure how to explain except the three books I read don't seem to belong together despite a shared main character. Oh, there are a few bits getting on with expected plot, careers and romance. But the main character just seems after first book to be thrown into settings and circumstances that don't seem to mesh with previous book -- maybe even completely different genres for each book.I'm actually going to repeat this review for the third book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Star WitchThe Lazy Girl's Guide to Magic, Book 2By: Helen HarperNarrated by: Tanya EbyOH MY GOD! This series is so funny! I love it! A funny, slightly overweight, slightly lazy witch, but smart, powerful, witch with a gorgeous witch that likes things orderly. She has a cat that can talk, boy, can he! She spelled him so he can talk with her and the cat is my favorite character...lol. Although Brutus the cat doesn't have much of a role in this book, he does in the other books. In this book, there is plenty of fun things going on. I giggled the whole way through! The narrator is half the fun. She make the characters really pop! I don't think it would be as fun if I read the books. She adds her own funny way about her to the characters and I can't help myself but giggle and even give a snort here and there! Super fun!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Hmmm. I still love Ivy and Rafe. The mystery/crime they had to solve, however, was...not up to par. More of like: what just happened? It happened that way?
