About this audiobook
An Amazon Charts bestseller.
What would it take to make you intervene?
When Ella Longfield overhears two attractive young men flirting with teenage girls on a train, she thinks nothing of it—until she realises they are fresh out of prison and her maternal instinct is put on high alert. But just as she’s decided to call for help, something stops her. The next day, she wakes up to the news that one of the girls—beautiful, green-eyed Anna Ballard—has disappeared.
A year later, Anna is still missing. Ella is wracked with guilt over what she failed to do, and she’s not the only one who can’t forget. Someone is sending her threatening letters—letters that make her fear for her life.
Then an anniversary appeal reveals that Anna’s friends and family might have something to hide. Anna’s best friend, Sarah, hasn’t been telling the whole truth about what really happened that night—and her parents have been keeping secrets of their own.
Someone knows where Anna is—and they’re not telling. But they are watching Ella.

For more than twenty-five years as a journalist—including fifteen years as a BBC TV news presenter—Teresa Driscoll followed stories into the shadows of life. Covering crime for so long, she watched and was deeply moved by all the ripples each case caused, and the haunting impact on the families, friends and witnesses involved. It is those ripples that she explores in her darker fiction. Teresa lives in beautiful Devon with her husband and two sons. She writes women’s fiction as well as thrillers, and her novels have been published in six languages. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow! What a well woven story.
The ending of the epilogue was beautifully written about being too young for a wreath. Very poignant, had tears streaming down my face.
That’s the sign of a dammed good writer? - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Really great book for mystery-lovers like me! Also love the excellent narration.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I Am Watching You by Teresa DriscollElla overhears two young men flirting with (two) teenage girls on a train, she thinks nothing of it. Then she realizes they are straight out of prison she is on guard, but says nothing. The next day she hears the news that one of the girls (Anna Ballard) has disappeared. She is distraught feeling guilty for doing nothing. One year later Anna is still is missing. Ella is getting threatening letters and worries about her safety. As the investigation continues seems everyone is hiding secrets. From Anna's family to her friends. Who knows the truth about Anna, who is watching Ella and why?A faced paced story told from multiple points of view, brought me deep into the story. Intense, thrilling, edge-of-your-seat suspense, kept me engrossed from the first page until the end.Overall I found I Am Watching You quite enjoyable and highly recommend to those who enjoy a great (psychological) thriller. I look forward to reading more by Teresa Driscoll .

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This one kept me guessing! I enjoyed the story and narrator.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Listened over two days on audiobook. It was an easy background listen, the story kept my attention and although it was not a lose yourself kind of book it does keep you guessing. The ending comes fairly quickly but any longer would have been too long.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I loved the plot idea and story telling. but was left disappointed by the ending.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Found I got lost with continual changes of direction. Characters are not likeable, just blah. The suspence of what made Sarab think her fatber was disgusting was overdone. I didnt care after a while.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A simple story well told. The narrator read from from her heart.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is the first one and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Will be catching up with number 2 very soon !

very good narration as well - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was good, but went on forever. I think they could have shortened the book a bit.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5An intelligent mystery, well written, and engaging. I recommend this book to all readers.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Now I understand the reviews stating they did not like the end. How very constructed.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Brilliant read kept the suspense throughout, definitely do recommend
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I couldn’t put this down. I just had to know what happened. A thriller with lots of twists and turns, a creepy undertone throughout and a satisfying end.
Ella overhears two girls on a train flirting with two men. She gets a bad feeling. When she sees on the news the next day that one of the girls is missing she is filled with guilt. The story follows the families of the two girls and Ella (who has since been receiving threatening letters) and a year later, they are still trying to figure out what happened. It’s a wild ride.
100% would recommend. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5An intelligent mystery, well written, and engaging. I recommend this book to all readers.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Kept me guessing all the way until the end and the epilogue is really informative also.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The story telling jumping from one person to another can be confusing, and sometimes it’s told from the first person perspective and sometimes the third?! On top of that, too many irrelevant details are mentioned. Who cares how Ella arranges her flowers? It’s a struggling read for me.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good book, interesting story, a good twist at the end. Narrators voice sucks you into the story which helps! Listened to the whole thing in 2 days.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It was a nice story. But i can't say i love it. Switching from one character to the other was confusing at times. While i was reading i was questioning myself if that person is the friend or the daughter. It seemed both of them had "curious" fathers.
The plot twist came too late. We didn't know who the character was until the very last second, which was a bummer as we didn't have a full characterization on him. Half a page later we knew he did that and that and that's the reason for what he has done.
Also, i didn't understand why the story switched, at some point, to a teen pregnancy and a baby. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent! Intriguing, what a twist. Great book to keep you guessing
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Really enjoyed this.
I had read some reviews that said the jumping between characters was confusing but I didn't find that to be so.
I enjoyed the perspectives and stories of each of the characters involved and I thought it was written really well.
The narration was good, if I had one tiny criticism it would be that occasionally when it was more than one male character talking there wasn't much distinction between voices and I got a little confused as to who said what, but this is only once or twice and it was much better than having to listen to some of the ridiculous put on voices in many audiobooks I have listened to.
The story itself was a real page turner. And everytime I thought I'd figured it out there was another twist to the tale. Ending with something I really didn't see coming!
I am now going to listen to another Theresa Driscoll audiobook as I enjoyed this one so much.
