About this audiobook

On account of the superficial points of agreement between Islam and Christianity, many don’t see how tremendously deep the divides between them really are, and fewer still have considered the evidence for each faith. How is Jihad different from the Crusades? Can we know the life of Jesus as well as the life of Muhammad? What reason is there to believe in one faith over the other, and what difference can the Gospel really make?

In No God but One, New York Times bestselling author Nabeel Qureshi takes readers on a global, historical, yet deeply personal journey to the heart of the world’s two largest religions. He explores the claims that each faith makes upon believers’ intellects and lives, critically examining the evidence in support of their distinctive beliefs. Fleshed out with stories from the annals of both religions, No God but One unveils the fundamental, enduring conflict between Islam and Christianity—directly addressing controversial topics like Jihad, the Crusades, Sharia, the Trinity, and more.

Readers of Qureshi’s first book, Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, will appreciate his careful and respectful comparison of Islam and Christianity. Both religions teach that there is No God but One, but who deserves to be worshiped, Allah or Jesus?

A masterfully written book, the more I read, the more it blew my mind.

A book for Muslims to read, as well as anyone interested in the foundations and facts about Islam and Christianity. Extremely compelling and easy to understand apologetics book.

The book puts together all the facts and origins of Islam and Christianity, and presents undeniable evidence of the truth of Christianity and Islam and utterly destroys Islam’s foundation. For one to call themselves informed disbelievers they would have to read the entire book first.

A theologically concise comparison between Yahweh and Allah. Extremely useful for all who desire to winsomely engage with the descendants of Abraham’s elder son who received a blessing from God. Grab a notebook and pen and record the many references from the Qu’ran and canonical scripture. Learn the most common claims of Mohammad’s followers and learn the Christian response to these claims. You will be moved by the compelling testimony of the author and the faith of the young convert who willing gave up her earthly life for the promises of God that find their fulfillment in Jesus Christ as prophet, priest, king of kings and Lord of Lords

Having read and enjoyed Qureshi's first book, I wasn't sure what more he could say on the topic. He had covered his conversion and done so in an apologetic manner. This book does more of the same but in the reverse. Here, the book is more of an apologetic tool framed within his pre-and-post-conversion to Christianity.

Qureshi does a service in providing a well balanced look at what Muslims believe, what they claim to believe, and what leading Muslim apologists claim. Having watched quite a few debates from James White on the subject the topics are covered well and clearly. I would have like him to go into depth a little bit more on subjects of what regular Muslims believe but he does provide "the best" when it comes to Muslim apologists - which isn't saying much. I would also have liked him to cover a little bit more of the current history and schisms in Islam. For example, he does a great job covering the history of the formation of the Koran and the language but not too much about how it transitioned into a book thought to be perfect by today's Muslims.

The book isn't overly long as far as length of chapters but a lot of topics are covered. Qureshi still takes on the evidentalist viewpoint of apologetics although does slip into presuppositions from time to time. The book is good for those who want a primer on Muslim beliefs and Christian responses. It is a great tool to take the first step in understanding those who believe in Islam and thus be able to witness to them, in love, the necessity for salvation in Jesus Christ. Final Grade - B
