This book is worth listening to (or reading) because of its blunt honesty. The writer is straightforward in her recalling and narration and she tells you everything, even what was under the bandages. If you need direction into this new, unexpected, path reading this book will give you a whole lot of information. The honest description of her pain and recovery from her second surgery has opened my eyes and I may have to talk to my doctor once more. Worth reading.
