About this audiobook
As Laurie Cass continues the nationally bestselling Bookmobile Cat mystery series, librarian Minnie Hamilton is happy to take her bookmobile for a spin with her rescue cat, Eddie-but her tenacious tabby always seems to find trouble . . .
As the bookmobile rolls along the hills of Chilson, Michigan, Minnie and Eddie spread good cheer and good reads. But when her faithful feline finds his way into the middle of a murder, Minnie is there, like any good librarian, to check it out.
Eddie turns a routine bookmobile stop into anything but when he makes a quick escape and hops into a pickup truck . . . with a dead body in the flatbed. The friendly local lawyer who was driving the pickup falls under suspicion. But Minnie and Eddie think there's more to this case than meets the eye, and the dynamic duo sets out to leave no page unturned.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Another wonderful novel about Minnie and Eddie!
If you enjoyed this novel, you might also like to discover the Lighthouse Library Mystery Series by Eva Gates or Library Lover's Mystery Series by Jenn McKinlay. A trio of wonderful authors with exquisite series that should not be missed by readers loving stories about libraries, librarians, and cats. Purrs. :) - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Librarian Minnie Hamilton is on the bookmobile run when her cat Eddie finds the body of Dale Lacombe, the father of Leese, a local attorney in Chilson, Michigan. At first the police glom onto Leese as a suspect, and that infuriates Minnie, who has been known to insert herself into investigations before. And she’s usually the one who solves the crime.Minnie has lots going on in her life: a rocky relationship with her cop boyfriend; the marriage of her beloved Aunt Frances; uncertainty in her housing situation; and a tense relationship with her boss, the new library director. Not to worry, however. Readers know that things have a way of working out for our heroine in this lovely series. In fact things are so “tidy” at the end that it felt like the end of the series. I haven’t learned about whether there’s a new book in the works, but hope there is.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A fun read and a terrific ending, I just hope that the series isn't over. The author has updated her website since the 5th book was released.
If this was the last book it really ended on a nice note with Minnie finally getting the guy, house and cat of her dreams, I just hope she likes the next library director :) - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Another wonderful novel about Minnie and Eddie!

Purrs. :) - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Market a book as a cat mystery and I will jump at the chance to slink to a cozy place and curl up with a book. This series falls into a lovely shore in Michigan at the beginning of fall. Assistant director and librarian Minnie and her frisky cat, Eddie, win the hearts of the small community with her pleasing manner and her winning personality, but when murder strikes, Minnie is all business. I have not read the previous novels in this series, but I enjoyed this cozy mystery. Laurie Cass follows all the set formulas to present a story rich in the importance of a library. The characters fall a little flat, but a cozy mystery omits psychology and emotions of the killer. The story mentions a little food, no big discussion of food nor fashion. The Bookmobile Cat series becomes a beach read, nothing involving too much thought.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Minnie needs to just go ahead and take the library director's job.
