      I’m not sure how to feel about this book or how it got five star ratings. Their sexual encounters, especially the first one is filled with him being thrilled by her inexperience with high school references (the teddy bear…his response was gross). It’s hard to know if his attraction is to her or her “innocence”. That said her innocence doesn’t match her very progressive and informed opinions about sex. She’s knowledgeable about so much regarding intercourse, but is ignorant of the fact that a woman needs foreplay before penetration. It’s like the author really wants her to be a little teen virgin with this 37 year old man… who has loads of trauma regarding his sister’s sexual abuse. The lines between natural attraction and trauma response are blurred. The emotional connections are confusing as well sense they could both use therapy instead of working emotional damage out on each other…. The title is appropriate. You may find this book hot, but you may also feel a bit dirty after.

      My first ever book review. This fucking book man I’m so happy I listened to it first instead of reading because I wasn’t ready for the tears I cried. Sean is definitely top 5 book boyfriends I love him he’s my favorite bell brother. The plot and the spice just amazing.

      Honesty…. I can’t decide what I was more impressed with, the story or the writing. I’ve never been as equally as turned on literarily as I was sexually. What a sexy, beautiful book.

      There is so much to say about this book! First I have to say I did not know how to do a beginning that the main character, female character, that’s Black. I feel like I need to go back through and look at it again. But I felt like I missed the whole situation. But I loved it, and specifically because of a scene in the book where she encounters some racial biases at a fundraiser. I LOVED, I MEAN LOVED how the author truly captured that moment. Because as a Black woman these are things that happen every day and to have Sean have this realization that his privilege has truly carried him for a really long time. He takes a really hard look at himself and how his behavior, actions, words have affected others possibly. It was so beautifully written. That one moment just truly was beautiful.

      Very Good book if you are looking for more smut than story. Still a cute love story though.

      But recording skips every so often!! Probably missed about 10 30 second intervals of the book. Do better Scribd!!

      I enjoyed it, honestly.
      I also enjoyed the voice of the guy reading this one. A lot of the time the voice just doesn’t fit the character and they really did a good job with this one!

      My expectations for this book were so low and at the end of it I was so invested in their love and their connection with God. It really surprised me how could the author write a sexy book but also so holy

      I could listen to the narrator's voice all day. Easy book to listen to. The male character's personality was loveable where as a lot of other romance novels I find theirs to be lacking. Sweet and sad all in all I recommend it.

      It’s really well written. The spice is excellent. The male protagonist POV is equally emotional, thoughtful and dirty. Unfortunately age gap trope all the spice hinges on just isn’t for me so I didn’t enjoy it. If you like that, enjoy! If you aren’t into the age gap trope, stick to the first book Priest.

      This book was EVERYTHING. Steamy, funny, intense and real. There are so many topics that the author touched on in such a gentle yet thought-provoking way. I thoroughly enjoyed myself listening to this book. And th narrator? *swoons* I could listen to him read the encyclopedia. I look forward to reading more of the author’s books and hearing that narrator’s voice

      I started the book yesterday at midnight... Finished it this morning around 10:00am... omg, what a surprising beautiful book❤️ I was expecting a simple spicy book from the TikTok recommendations, but seriously, this was deep, romantic, hot, and touching!

      After reading this, I could not help but compare everything to the first book in the series. The sound and feel of the writing technique is relatively the same however, the style specially in the sex scenes in this book are not as "poetic" as the first one. It felt like some of the sex scenes were written just to live up to the steamy abd smutty nature of book 1.

      What I like about the book are the last few chapters. The reason behind the main character's non-belief towards God was written well. Also, the scene where the mother was dying was really heart wrenching.

      Over- all, this is still a good smut book to read and I am looking forward tp finishing the series soon.

      To be frank, I wasn't expecting much from this audiobook as I've read similar that were just ok. I was pleasantly surprised at how the author handled the subject matter of family, religion, sex, passion, lust, homosexuality, friendship, suicide, God, love and death with straightforward honesty that is unmistakable throughout. This being said, the book is filled with hotness, lots of sex and a few twists I didn't see or should I say hear coming. The narrator gave life to the characters and was very pleasant to listen to. If you're looking for a hot sexy read with a few interesting twists then this is a good book to get into. Definitely very mature /adult subject matter.

      I have just finished this book. I can honestly say I’m stunned. Beautiful writing, powerful characters, humanity, sex, love, family. I was prepared for however it might end because there were so many ways it could go. This is at the top of my list of favorites, and I can’t wait to read the others in the series.
