      I love christine, I have read all her books... this one is ok, but not her best work

      I did not expect the story to end the way it did. It must have a continuation to say or for one to draw some conclusions. It is quite an engaging and very entertaining book. Love every bit of each chapter and storylines was very wanting, and that helps to build anticipation of the next battle and loss. I will reread the book for satisfaction with much pleasure. I love and love the author's works and is quite entertaining! I will give or rate the book five stars plus.
      Dark Sentinel is the third time for me; it has taken this long. To get quite the understanding of the story now that I had gone back from book one up to this, it began to make much sense and clearly. It deserves more than five stars. Great reading indeed it was this very book that opened up the opportunity of the world and books of Christine Feehan, and ever since I have not stopped.
      The dark sentinel was the first of the writer’s books that I read and was very entertaining and exciting too. I love how she brings the story to a whole different scenes and places also new characters. The depth of her work always fascinates me and takes my mind into a different realm while reading. Again, love her work anytime, and likes how she can take each character on a soul searching journey and giving each a life-altering experiences and letting each find and discover their strength and weaknesses. Also, allowing them to discover something they thought will not be possible at all for them.
      Christine Feehan has done well bringing into view the story of these ancient hunters. In view of their lives and all, they have been through and the extent of powers that this ancient possessed and each getting their reward after a century of serving their people. Also, knowing and having the knowledge that their prince that they believed in, has betrayed their people. Through his action with his first son and failing to put him in his place. Equally, have to lead to the problem of most of the ancient not pledging to his son who is now the current ruling prince of the Carpathian race.
      It was important that Christine Feehan was able to show her readers the facts and leading cause of the problems and mistrust of the older monks that came from the monastery not to trust the current prince power and rain. They judge the son of the father's sins without giving him the benefit of doubt to get to know his personality. Can wait to learn who among these ancient find their mate next.
