About this audiobook

Megan Turner is in love with the past. As a tour guide at a beautiful historic mansion, she tells visitors about its original owner, Charles Whitley. An inventor and businessman in the early 1900s, he rose from poverty to wealth...only to disappear without a trace.

Charles was always intrigued by the future. He just never expected to go there. But when he repairs a mysterious clock he bought on his travels, he’s transported to the 21st century, with his home decorated for Christmas and overrun by strangers. Charles is determined to find a way back to his own era, especially when he learns about what happened after he left. But as Megan introduces him to the wonders of smartphones, pizza, and modern holiday traditions, they both feel a once-in-a-lifetime connection. Could it be that, somewhere in time, they belong together?

This magical holiday romance includes a free Hallmark original recipe for Stuffed Crust Italian Pizza.

I love books with time travel. This one is a romance AND Christmas so I was really excited to read it. For the most part I really did enjoy it. It reminded me a lot of the movie Kate and Leopold. They are very similar in ways except different at the end. My only problems with it was that it was a little repetitive. Yes Charles, we know you NEED to go back to your time because you've said about fifteen million times now. Also I wish the ending explained a little bit more. Mostly about the logistics of how things were able to happen. (view spoiler) Overall if you like Christmas time romance with some time travel, I highly recommend this book. It's a fun read!

This was a fun, new take on time travel. An easy, enjoyable read with a Christmas (bah, humbug) kind of theme.
