About this audiobook
The Palestinian Delusion is unique in situating the Israeli/Palestinian conflict within the context of the global jihad that has found renewed impetus in the latter portion of the twentieth century and the beginning of the twenty-first. Briskly recounting the tumultuous history of the "peace process," Robert Spencer demonstrates that the determination of diplomats, policymakers, and negotiators to ignore this aspect of the conflict has led the Israelis, the Palestinians, and the world down numerous blind alleys. This has often only exacerbated, rather than healed, this conflict.
The Palestinian Delusion offers a general overview of the Zionist settlement of Palestine, the establishment of the State of Israel, and the Arab Muslim reaction to these events. It explores the dramatic and little-known history of the various peace efforts-showing how and why they invariably broke down or failed to be implemented fully.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Such a propagandistic book - it's actually fascinating to listen to and understand what ideas are instilled in the minds of young Israelis to transform them into machines of killing (and suicide) serving the IDF. Conversely, it DOES capture aspects of Muslim teachings that read out of context are undoubtedly manipulative, turning even a relatively peaceful Arab into a Martyr or at the very least, a sympathizer of Jihad. And because a significant number of individuals are swayed by the exact type of sensationalist content that Robert Spencer produces, the book provides a glimpse into the realism of the violence that fuels the Middle East, compelling individuals to voluntarily become victims and, often, perpetrators.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5An excellent rather neutral description of the israélo-palestinien conflict with an enormous number of non-disputed facts of history.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Some more wildly original "barbarians at the gates" rhetoric about Palestine. The war on terror doesnt sell books like it used to.
The Zionist project is one of colonial occupation. They operate what amounts to an open air prison in the West Bank and every Western solution to this is to tell the Palestinians to negotiate. Come to the table.
Negotiations require 2 equal parties. Dignity for the Palestinian people is the first step in any peace process and that doesnt come from fearmongering some global jihad no one is scared of anymore.10 people found this helpful
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Blatant lies against the Palestinians who are the owners of the land and the Palestinian authority who sought peace but were always given less than a state and humiliating proposals while all along Israel has been building settlements and was never serious about a 2 state solution. Hate-mongering and anti-Islam rhetoric have dehumanized Palestinians and Muslims and marginalized the Christian Palestinians. Any discussion that focuses on Palestinians as Muslims alone and ignores that Palestine has Christians who are equally subjugated by the Zionist state is a slap on the face of history and truth.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Lying Islamophobic bloatbag Robert Spencer has made a career of peddling his decayed, dessicated fearmongering and anti-Muslim hate. I have no problem with entertaining divergent opinions, but this cursed thug does a disservice to the Jewish people by pushing falsehoods. It makes me sick, I can't write anymore. Go out and talk to a Palestinian, you'll come to understand the reality of the situation there.
