He has consulted with the National Park Service, the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribe of Oklahoma, the Northern Arapaho Tribe of Wyoming, the Northern Cheyenne Tribe of Montana, and the Rocky Mountain Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church concerning Sand Creek.

      Surprisingly engaging book considering it was based on a relatively minor historical figure. He has been portrayed in so many movies, TV shows etc, it was interesting to see what the real guy was like. Well written! If you have any interest in the history of the west, this is perfect beach reading!
