      My husband and I listened to this with our 9 year old twins. We were all completely enraptured by the story. It is excellent for all ages!

      My daughter and I loved it! Adventure, bravery, courage, deceit, and treachery. Wonderful imaginary worlds of rabbits, wolves, and birds of prey.

      Captivating story. Very exciting, so much adventure, suspense and surprises. Much truth and hope intertwined throughout the story. Has become one of our favorite stories.

      I love all the voices Joel Clarkson does! I had listened to an audiobooks who mixed up the voices. It got me confused a couple times. Thank you Mr. Clarkson!!!!!

      Such an amazing story. Both my kids and I were captured by this beautifully woven story from beginning to end. I generally prefer hard copies of books but the narrator did such a wonderful job performing this book and we look forward to the continued adventures of Heather and Picket and their dear friends.

      A must read! An amazing adventure filled with twists and turns that keep you enthralled with the story and it wouldn’t be hard to stay up very late into the nights reading. A true page-turner—and I can’t wait to read the next books in this awesome series!!

      I couldn’t recommend it enough. S.D. Smith did a marvelous job telling this story—it is almost as though they told him first hand (lol).

      Refreshing. Good story for elementary age children (though I enjoyed it and am in my 30s). Setting is similar to Redwall, but tone is more like Narnia.

      When I saw Joel Clarkson was reading this story, I knew it would be good coming from the Clarkson family of avid readers. Now that we finished it, I can say its an excellent book. My kids would not stop asking to listen to this story. I was also eagerly awaiting our story time and couldn't wait to hear whats next.

      I just love this book and probably my favorite character is pick I especially like him at the end when he gets really good at fighting and he’s like a warrior and I’m just so excited to read the next, and it’s also kind of shocking when you figure out the smalls is the heir to the throne and as I’ve told you before, and I’ll tell you again, I’m just so excited to read the next, and I hope you have the same experience of listening or reading to this as I did listening or reading to this as I did

      I’m 13 years old and the twists and turns in this book are remarkable, especially once you get to Chapter 30. This is a must and is very appealing. I’d recommend for ages 9+. This book doesn’t end on a cliffhanger (or I guess it kind of does but not really) yet it forces you to read/listen to the rest of the series. I wasn’t interested in this book when I first saw it but I love it. YOU MUST LISTEN TO IT STOP READING THIS REVIEW.
