About this audiobook

One innocent human girl. Twenty-five supernatural bachelors. Six weeks to choose The One.

When struggling actress Kimmie-Jayne Starr discovers she's snagged the starring role on the next huge reality TV show, Hitched, she thinks all her dreams have finally come true. But as soon as she lands on the beautiful island of Mystic Cove, something feels wrong.

Sure, the twenty-five bachelors are heart-stoppingly gorgeous, but she's certain they're all hiding something-something supernatural. As she gets to know the guys, protecting her heart proves impossible when she finds herself irresistibly drawn to more than just one.

As a string of strange accidents on set grow deadlier, Kimmie realizes there's much more to this dating show than she ever could've imagined. If she can't figure out who's behind these incidents, she'll end up risking more than just her heart.

Hitched reminds me of the the Selection meets adult paranormal romance. The main characater is Kimmie Jayne who is a small town girl who moved to Hollywood to become an actress. She gets picked for the lead role of Hitched a reality dating show and is whisked away to a private island to meet her soulmate. But Kimmie’s journey to true love doesn’t run smooth. One of my favorite things about Hitched was trying to figure out which paranormal creatures the bachelors were. Some I got but some I was way off. I loved all the group dates and watching Kimmie start to make connections with some of the guys. It is a little slow until Kimmie gets to the island but after that I couldn’t put it down(only to message my friends about who I thought the bachelors were and to say how much I was loving it). The writing was great and solid though the whole book. I have read indie books were the quality of the writing goes up and down and many times stays in the mediocre range but I am happy to say this wasn’t the case at all in Hitched. I have only two complaints and that is Kimmie was a little to native sometimes and I think the book was too short. I would have liked to get to know the guys and Kimmie more. I can’t wait to start book 2. I highly recommend this book to all people who love the bachelorette or the selection type stories and lovers of paranormal romance.Rating: 4 stars
