      This main guy is toxic as hell, I mean I don’t understand how that girl let herself fall for him after all the shit he put her through

      The female narrator has no emotion.. especially the sex scene, she sounds like she is reading an instruction Manuel .. it’s horrible. The guy is good. So much emotion and an actual voice actor..

      What the f*ck was even this book?! When did sexual harassment and emotional abuse become sexy? Eric is so toxic and straight up abusive. Then one big gesture and boom! Love blossoms and it's happy ever after. Also, where are the trigger warnings? This book was truly awful.

      Good storyline. Focused on sex trafficking without too much detail and triggering scenes.

      Another one with poorly handled heavy topics. Just magically brushing the trauma off the same night. Smh.

      Aside from that, it felt a bit rushed toward the end but, minus a few scenes, was an enjoyable listen

      Of all the books in this series, this one was definitely the most aggravating! Eric was such an A**hole! And Alex was so irritatingly foolish. The beginning was good and very captivating despite Eric being an ass. The middle and End felt rushed but overall it was an ok story line.

      If I could give this zero stars I would. A book about sexual assault and near rape. I can not understand why anyone would want to listen to this I was not able to finish if. These books are supposed to be a get away this gave me nightmares.
