- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Cute and festive. An adorable YA contemporary. Could have been a bit shorter, though. I'd prefered 7 blind dates ,and 30%less book.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really enjoyed this. A lot of dates were hilarious and the whole family aspect made me feel really warm. The romance was so so cute. I just want to say though that I didn't appreciate the sexual harassment in one of the dates not being addressed and being used as a joke instead. It really rubbed me the wrong way.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was so cute! I loved Sophie’s family and the blind date set up. I also loved the relationship between her and Wes and how he loved her family.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really enjoyed this cute ya Christmas book. The whole concept of being set up on blind dates by your family is the set up for a great story. I loved the whole family aspect of the story. I cried and laughed while reading this one. It was awesome. I would recommend.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Sophie is going to be staying with her grandparents because her parents are visiting Sophie's sister, who is struggling with the last term of her pregnancy. On the way to her grandparents' house, Sophie stops in at a party and overhears her boyfriend saying he wants to break up with her. Sophie is devastated, but when her large family comes up with the idea that they will pick blind dates for her, she reluctantly goes along with it. The result includes some very unique dates, as well as, a family pool betting on the time when each of Sophie's dates will end.
10 Blind Dates is a predictable but cute YA romance with likable characters and a unique plot. Adding a layer to the story is the constant worry that Sophie has about her sister's pregnancy, and the texts that she sends to her and she receives from her. Overall, 10 Blind Dates is a quick easy read and an enjoyable YA romance. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5When Sophie overhears her boyfriend, Griffin, say “like a trial run of what it would be like if we broke up” she is devastated. At her grandmother’s house for Christmas break her huge extended family decides they will set her up on ten blind dates to cheer her up and get her mind off her real break up with Griffin. Various family members take a day and plan a date for her. Some are great, some are hilarious, and some are just plain awkward.
This was such a fun sweet read. I loved Sophie’s family even if they are a bit overwhelming, if well meaning. She has two female cousins nicknamed “Evil Jos,” and the saying is “Evil Jos are evil.” After the two dates they set up--the nickname is accurate. I am definitely buying this clean romance for my library. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5If I could give this book 10 stars I would! I can't remember the last time I wanted to join in on the action, laughed so hard while reading, or gotten seriously jealous that Nonna wasn't mine. This was completely amazing and just what I needed.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I have mixed opinions about this one. I loved the first half, I found it so fun and just the right amount of cutesy. But I didn’t love the second half. Obviously the reader knows exactly how it’s going to end (and with whom) from the first chapter, and yet when it starting delivering on that, I simply lost interest. I really don’t know if maybe it was my own head space that changed, but I found the second half too saccharine and cringey and the main character not as likable; she was a little mean and reckless with her snap judgments/decisions and I didn’t love her constant complaining of her caring and loving family. But then again, she’s probably a close portrayal of an actual teen and this was the moment I realize I may have aged out of enjoying cute young people things. I mean, I do now enjoy picking out (and using) coasters, it’s probably just a matter of time until I start yelling at kids to get off my lawn.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5"10 Blind Dates" was a sweet way to start my 2020 reading journey. I just adored Sophie's big, supportive, interfering, Italian family and the way they all wanted to be involved in organising a blind date for her after she unexpectedly broke off with her long-term boyfriend, Griffin. Grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles were all vying to have a turn and being Italian food was always seen as a solution and there was plenty available. Sophie's family certainly went all out of their way to organise the various dates and some of them had me laughing our loud, especially the live Nativity scene Sophie found herself in and the porn drive-in movie which her cousin organised for her.I also loved the Fab-Four - Sophie, her cousins Olivia and Charlie and Wes, the next-door neighbour. The bond between them was touching and their banter and antics continually had me smiling. The text messages between Sophie and her older sister were also delightful and I enjoyed the special connection they shared. However, the star of the novel was Sophie's grandmother. I loved her wisdom, big heart, generous spirit and her ability to cook for her huge family. She was a typical Italian nonna and I adored her.The one thing that drove me nuts in this book was the excessive use of y'all. I hate that term at the best of times and the author used it far too often. However, overall, "10 Blind Dates" was a wonderful holiday read.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I received this book for free as part of a blog tour. This was such a cute YA Christmas romance! I honestly wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. First off, I loved the premise. 10 blind dates picked by family members is a hilarious idea. The execution was great as well. There were some cute dates and some OMG dates (like the one that her twin cousins set up). I also loved the emphasis on family, both with her immediate and extended family. I loved the bond Sophie had with her pregnant older sister, Margot. It was so heartwarming to see how much they supported one another. Additionally, Sophie’s extended family was insane, but so lovable. You couldn’t help but laugh at their craziness (like them placing bets on what time she came home from her dates). Despite that, they all cared for Sophie and wanted to help her get over her heartbreak. The pacing of the book was amazing. It was faced paced but at the same time everything was well developed and there was no insta-love. This book could have very easily dragged on in some parts, but didn’t. Overall, this was the perfect YA holiday read. It’s light, fluffy, and full of Christmas cheer!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Sophie is completely psyched to have some freedom from her parents and spend the Christmas holidays with her boyfriend, while her parents take care of Sophie's pregnant older sister who's having complications. What Sophie didn't plan for is her boyfriend suddenly deciding he wants to break up instead of spending the holiday break together. Heartbroken, Sophie's large and boisterous extended family comes to rescue, lead by her Nonna who comes up with a plan to set Sophie up on ten blind dates with different guys over the course of the break. While Sophie isn't super keen on the plan, she ends up finding the fun in all the crazy dates and the love that waits for her at home.A really sweet YA romance, Sophie is a smart and sympathetic protagonist who thankfully doesn't spend much time wallowing in post-break-up angst. Instead, we get lots of fun with her large, Southern, Italian-descent family who are lovely on the whole along with some cute and some hysterically bad blind dates. The romance for Sophie is pretty predictable but the journey is highly enjoyable and the setting in Louisiana makes for a different approach to Christmas. Cute and recommended if the summary sounds like your jam.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Cheesy, corny, and cute, but I expected the story to have more of an emotional punch. It was a tad superficial and boring in parts. At points it was hard to keep up with the array of characters. I enjoyed the writing and concept so I'm generously giving it 3 stars.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5After Sophie overhears her boyfriend Griffin say she's no fun, the breakup is imminent. Sophie heads to her Grandma Nonna's house, several hours away for the Christmas holiday break. Put to work in the family nursery and surrounded by a huge amount of cousins and other family. she is game when Nonna decides ten people will have a chance to set Sophie up on a blind date. A white board in the kitchen maintains order while she is there, taking her mind off of Griffin and her older sister, who is on bedrest expecting a baby. This was a fun story for this time of year. The dates were inspired and I chuckled and cringed at the appropriate times. By the end, she rediscovers a bit of herself.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Sophie is excited to spend some quality time with her boyfriend Griffin over the holiday break -- until she overhears him telling a friend that he's bummed that she's staying in town. With that relationship over, Sophie heads down the road to her grandparents' house to fill the break with her loud and loving extended family. When her grandmother hears about Sophie's breakup, she hatches a plan to get Sophie to have some fun over the break: the family will set Sophie up with ten blind dates over the holidays. Some of the dates are sweet and fun, some hilarious and/or heinous. But the whole time, Sophie can't help but wish she was being set up with Wes, the boy next door, with whom she has been friends as long as she can remember. Could they maybe be more than friends? This was a cute holiday romance. It was pretty clear which way things were going from the start, but the characters are lovable and the premise is fun, so a little predictability is forgivable. Recommended if you're looking for a nice Christmas read.
