About this audiobook

He's her darkest fantasy. . . After years of struggling, Haven Daly has finally accepted that she's nuttier than a fruitcake. Why else would she see visions of a beautiful but tormented male every night . . . and actually believe she can talk to him, even feel his touch? But thanks to those dream journeys, she can paint images nobody else on earth can duplicate. In each brush stroke, she captures the blatant masculinity and raw desire in his eyes that promise he's coming for her.and soon. She's the light that keeps him going. . . Quade Kayrs has already suffered a lifetime of pain and torture. Completely isolated, he kept his sanity thanks to one beautiful female, a vision with kind emerald eyes. In the end, her soft voice led him out of hell. Now, naked and alone, he's in a strange world that bears little resemblance to the one he left behind. All he knows is Haven. All he wants is Haven. His final mission? To protect her from the evil hunting them both-whether she likes it or not . . .

Dark Protectors book 11. Dark paranormal romance. Best read as part of the series.
Quade, after centuries of protecting the realm and fighting for his life, is finally freed by Haven, who can travel between worlds in her sleep. It’s now his job to protect her from the ultimate enemy.

Lots of characters from prior books. It can stand as a romance on its own but there is so much back story and an overall arc that it’s better if you know some of the story. Haven has been featured in the last several books. This is her story.

As is typically with this series, the men are protective, willing to fight to the death for justice, and a bit overbearing. They do learn to love fully if only after they give a spanking during sex play. The women are independent, smart and just as willing to jump into a fight to protect their family.

    A fast, and electrifying read.
Hope, the expected resolution of the entire series, aka world, is still a child. That means potentially a dozen more warriors falling in love and enemies slain before the series concludes. Good thing this author writes an appealing story. I look forward to the next episode.

Hero's Haven by Rebecca ZanettiNot really into vampires and other creatures but I do love the author's works so thought I'd give this book a try.Like the things I learn as there is no die cast for what each of the creatures can do from author to author. It's all in your imagination that makes it work. This author is very descriptive, enough so you can picture it in your mind and the scenes.Found some parts I really liked and some I just don't understand-not being a reader of this genre.Sexual scenes were a bit off the top and I really liked how they moved in their travels and used latest technologies to achieve it all.Like meeting their relatives and we find out over time why each one has relationship problems from their past.Like some of the scientific things-portals, traveling from universe and back and forth, blood letting and how it made they stronger with healing-wish it'd work for humans with the disease we have these days.Toothpaste incidents are hilarious!Finishes up with acknowledgment and other works by the author are highlighted. Wouldn't mind reading more of this series.Received this review copy from Kensington Books, Lyric al Press via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion. #HerosHaven #NetGalley

Hero’s Haven by Rebecca ZanettiDark Protectors #11Quade has been busy keeping a bad guy in an alternate world prison for centuries and believes he is finally going to die and never come back when he is yanked out and saved by Haven. This is their story of running for the lives, fighting to stay alive, being captured more than once and suffering often. There were brutal fights, torture, exorcism attempts, a mating, catching up with The Seven and the mates of some of them, a visit with Hope and some of her friends and a rollicking good read in the end. I did find that the fights at times felt like filler and I wondered how many times a person could be kidnapped but it is a paranormal romantic suspense that forwards the overall plot of this series sand I look forward to reading the next one when it is ready.Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington – Lyrical Press for the ARC – This is my honest review.4 Stars

I enjoy thus series and how it continues with he originals even books, I enjoy hearing about the old characters as well as the new ones. Haven and Quade have a tumultuous courtship, until the final realize they are meant to be. Quade is a strong hero, but for similar to the older seven members. They all believe the shouldn't mate and be in love been then change their minds when they right woman comes along. I love the foreshadowing of Hope, Dayne, and Pax's situation, and how it was similar to her mother's and father's. I like the tension of will it be the same outcome or different. Overall, I do prefer the original realm stories, but this guys do intrigue me.
