Gin Stephens, the New York Times bestselling author of Fast. Feast. Repeat. and Delay, Don’t Deny, has been living the intermittent fasting (IF) lifestyle since 2014. Since then, she’s lost over eighty pounds and launched her IF website, four online support groups, four self-published books, and two top-ranked podcasts—Intermittent Fasting Stories and The Intermittent Fasting Podcast. A graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition’s Health Coach Training Program (2019), she also earned a Doctor of Education degree in Gifted and Talented Education (2009), a Master's degree in Natural Sciences (1997), and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (1990). She taught elementary school for twenty-eight years, and has worked with adult learners in a number of settings. She splits her time between Augusta, Georgia and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she lives with her husband and their four cats. Gin is also a mother to two adult sons.

    If you want to overhaul your health and life for the better, read this book. Fasting for over a year has given me power over my health/weight/anxiety levels, etc. I have never felt better and as I age into my late thirties, I feel as though I'm getting younger rather than older. This book explains everything I've experienced with fasting. It's incredibly informative and inspires me to continue with this lifestyle for the rest of my life. <3

    This is the best book on fasting and autophagy I’ve read. It’s clear and straight to the point. It’s not heavy on the scientific verbiage and explanations like some other books, but I like that the author seems to be speaking from experience and basically simplifies it all. Likewise the amount of personal experience testimonies from contributors really helped.

    Out of many, one rises to the top.

    I've read a bunch of diet/lifestyle books but this one has proven to be the absolute best in terms of knowledge. I thought I knew most of it beforehand, and I kind of did. But this book has more than just knowledge, it has wisdom.

    The lifestyle provided here is endlessly adaptable to your unique life situation. You make the choices but this book provides the knowledge and wisdom to make good choices.

    OMAD (one meal a day - one of the possible choices provided in the book) has literally changed my life. I'm no longer the prisoner of food and treats. No more compulsive eating out of stress or boredom. I have so much energy and my mind is peaceful.

    Take a chance and listen to this book, even if you think you know the subject already.
