      The female narrator ruined it for me. Her voice is so up and down, that it makes me feel like I’m listening to a nursery rhymes! Like seriously, lady can’t you just read normal? I know it’s voice acting but it’s so overly done , it’s annoying! Not to mention, after the heroine gave birth, how is your giggling voice matching up when you are supposed to be super tired! Ugh I can’t! Seems like a good book but I can’t do the giggling, mumbling up and down tones anymore. DNF

      Note: I started this series out of order but it did not impact my enjoyment of the story.

      4.25 Stars for me!

      My rating range throughout the story... 4 - 4.5

      Scenes with heat.. Definitely once you hit the 65% mark!

      The back story... H/h meet after her break up and she really likes him. Several months later, mom gets her a blind date sexy photo shoot... and he is the blind date. He is kind of a jerk but they still have sex... and now she has a life long companion...

      The Romance... Slow burn with lots of lust and animosity (mostly from the h). Once she warms up to him, the heat jumps way up.

      The drama explosion... Medium with moderate angst. The H is oblivious when it comes to a certain person.

      Another amazing story by Fiona Cole. I love this series. I was hoping Carina would get her own book. And it didn’t disappoint. The chemistry between Ian & Carina was off the chart. I truly loved their story. Plus the Narrator dud a great job.

      Great story. I personally didn’t understand her ex fiancé could pretend like he didn’t hurt her deeply. However, it was a tricky situation. I think they needed to have a long conversation regarding everything. Anyway, the book was great and Ian more than made up for all the pain she went through.
