Such a good book! It has been on my TBR for so long and I am glad I finally decided to read it. Girl knights, friendship, feminism, fight the patriarchy and gender roles, friends-to-lovers, ... FOR THE WIN. The audiobook was great to listen to as well; it was a very enjoyable read.

You wanted a feminist fight against misogyny in the Middle Ages? Here it is! Kit Sweetley is here to narrate her fight for equality in her job, and to do what she loves. You'll feel like picking up a sword after finishing, and taking down that glass ceiling I've joust at a time!

Honestly not my favorite. I didn’t really like the romance and the story felt kind of rushed. However it discusses some very important topics and it was overall sweet and cute!!

This was very cute. I loved the Castle plot and Kit wanting to be a knight. I loved the friends-to-lovers romance and HEA. I wish there had been a little more will-they-won’t-they with the love interest, but I was pleased in the end, regardless. Lastly, I love how there was this theme of being *brave* throughout—in all its forms. I’d love to read more from this author!

The ending was everything I could have asked for. There were parts in the middle that I found irritating, but the ending is worth the price of admission
